bIOdesign Challenge 2019: Caddi-adhe
Biodesign Challenge is an education program and competition that is shaping the first generation of biodesigners. We partner high school and university students with scientists, artists, and designers to envision, create, and critique transformational applications in biotech.
after many ideas and rough drafts ranging from utilizing poppy seed has glue to building footwear out of pineapples leaves the team and I decided on working on a waterproof/ Water-resistant adhesive. This Adhesive named Caddi-adhe reduces the chemical combinations utilized by current waterproofing methods. We would be working together with the caddis-fly larvae to create the caddi-adhe.
